Bodangora Wind Farm

The 113MW Bodangora Wind Farm achieved financial close in 2017. The project includes 33 General Electric (GE) 3.4 MW 130 wind turbines and a 132kV connection into the Transgrid Network.

Total project costs were $236 million and were funded from a $163 million construction facility provided by NORD/LB and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and $74 million of equity from Infigen Energy. Revenues are contracted by a power purchase agreement (PPA) with EnergyAustralia for 60% of the annual output.

The new Bodangora wind farm:

has capacity to power equivalent of 49,000 NSW homes per year

provides pollution free electricity into the national electricity grid

employees around 140 people during the construction phase

utilises cutting edge GE wind turbine technology with 85m towers and 67m long blades
