Bodangora Wind Farm

The 113MW Bodangora Wind Farm achieved financial close in 2017.  The project includes 33 General Electric (GE) 3.4 MW 130 wind turbines and a 132kV connection into the Transgrid Network.

Total project costs were $236 million and were funded from a $163 million construction facility provided by NORD/LB and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation and $74 million of equity from Infigen Energy. Revenues are contracted by a power purchase agreement (PPA) with EnergyAustralia for 60% of the annual output.

The new Bodangora wind farm:

• has capacity to power equivalent of 49,000 NSW homes per year

• provides pollution free electricity into the national electricity grid

• employees around 140 people during the construction phase

• utilises cutting edge GE wind turbine technology with 85m towers and 67m long blades
