Streaky Bay Solar Farm

Following the successful development, Tetris Energy reached completion for Flow Power to acquire the 3MW Streaky Bay Solar Farm in South Australia. Construction of this project occurred during the first half of 2021 and became commercially operational in May 2021.

The Streaky Bay Solar Farm is the most western generator in the National Electricity Market and will boost the available generation in the western Eyre Peninsula. The project will generate local employment and economic growth in the Streaky Bay District Council area.

Flow Power has secured a contract with The City of Adelaide to meet their electricity needs from both Streaky Bay and Coonalpyn. From 1 July 2020, the City of Adelaide will be completely powered by renewable electricity – a first for any council in South Australia.
