Batchelor Solar Farm

Batchelor NT

The 10MW Batchelor solar farm is an operational solar farm in the Northern Territory developed by Tetris Energy.

In September 2019, Eni Australia Limited acquired from Tetris Energy the construction-ready solar photovoltaic (PV) project and have proceeded to construction with BSR EPC Pty Limited.

Tetris Energy had previously entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Northern Territory Government owned retailer – Jacana Energy. Together with the Manton Dam Solar Farm, this project was one of the first large-scale solar projects in the Northern Territory and will form a key part of implementing the new Road Map to Renewables Policy. Under the executed Generator User Agreement, the projects will connect into Power&Water Corporation’s (PWC) 132kV Darwin to Katherine line.
